FRATZ Symposium
This year's FRATZ Symposium has two main focuses. In the field of dance for young audiences, we offer five very different productions, present a research lab and invite to think together about future networks. In addition, we continue to explore equity, decoloniality, and intersectionality: we were able to invite two productions that emerged from the FRATZ Research Labs 2020 and look forward to another premiere as part of the festival. Author and dramaturg Marie Yan talks to the artists about the special emotional labour of dealing with sensitive topics in a postcolonial context and starts an exchange with HK5Senses Theatre Hong Kong.
The symposium is a co-production with Offensive Tanz für junges Publikum Berlin.

FRATZ Reflections
The reflections document the results, discussions, and performances of the respective editions of our theater festivals »FRATZ International« and »Berliner Schaufenster«. We invited experts and authors to accompany the productions, laboratories, and events for industry professionals, to evaluate and integrate them into a discourse.
