The Trees in Us (4+)
A workshop experience for children (from 4 years), adults and trees | meeting point Volkspark Humboldthain, at the corner between Hussitenstraße and Grenzstraße |
Cinzia Schincariol l Germany & Australia l
Have you ever wondered if trees feel lonely at times?
Can we share our deepest secrets, dreams and concerns with trees?
Have you ever wondered if trees hold secret messages for each of us?
Have you ever eaten an apple seed and wondered if a tree would grow in your belly?
If you could be a tree, what tree would you want to be?
Join Cinzia in a playful exploration of our interconnectedness with trees and the environment they inhabit as she creates a space for our bodies, imagination, memories and creativity to find expression and reveal our own curiosity. This workshop is tailored for children (preferably from 4 years), families, Kitas and daycare groups, adults who love being in nature and desire to safely explore their connection with trees and cannot imagine a tomorrow without them!
We will do so through storytelling, movement, dance, sensory explorations and gifting to nature. We will discover together new creatures, part humans and part trees, that will guide us to find answers for a better future. An exhibition will be created with all participants’ creatures.
Cinzia will endeavour to create a space of care for each other and for the environment and will invite gratitude, play and curiosity.
